We’re excited to welcome you to the 2025 Chico Review. We’ve compiled helpful information below to assist you as you plan your travel. Please read thoroughly as it covers important information and should answer many of your questions.


 

Location: Chico Hot Springs Resort: 163 Chico Rd, Pray, MT 59065

Arrival and departure airport: Bozeman, MT (BZN)

Arrival and departure dates: Monday (3/17) and Sunday (3/23) are considered arrival and departure days. Lectures, panel discussions, and reviews will begin Tuesday (3/18) and conclude Saturday (3/22). Attendees are provided three meals a day starting with the Welcome Dinner Monday evening (3/17) through Sunday brunch (3/23)

Transportation: Chico Hot Springs Resort is roughly an hour’s drive from the Bozeman Airport. As a courtesy, we provide complimentary shuttle service from the Bozeman Airport to Chico Hot Springs on Monday (3/17) at 1:00pm, 3:30pm, and 6:00pm and Sunday (3/23) at 9:00am, and 12:00pm. Attendees may take one of the pre-scheduled shuttles or may arrange their own transportation. If you wish to rent a vehicle, we recommend renting a car from one of the airport car rental locations.

Hotel Check-in and Registration 
Hotel check-in begins at 3 pm. Head to the Main Lodge and check into your room using your full name. You will be asked to provide a credit card upon arrival and are responsible for any room incidentals. After check-in, take a few moments to settle into your room and then head towards the Conference Center for Registration check-in where you will receive your welcome packet and event itinerary. 

Weather
Weather conditions are predicted to see temperature highs in the low 50’s °F and lows in the mid-20’s with a chance of snow. The Conference Center is located outside the Main Lodge, so please pack accordingly.

Montana can be quite blustery and very dry

  • Layers (windbreaker, thermal base, top shell), boots, sturdy shoes for hiking

  • Bathing suit, cover, and pool-side shoes for the hot springs

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Chapstick

  • Camera(s)

Nearby Attractions
When planning your trip, consider the following. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are programming days packed with lectures, Q&As, and reviews from breakfast until dinner. Thursday is a free day. This mid-week break is an opportunity to relax, catch up on work, or as we hope many of you will do, head outdoors to experience for yourself the beauty of the surrounding area. 

Chico Hot Springs is roughly a half hour away from the closest town, Livingston. We will offer shuttle service to and from Livingston on Thursday, for those interested in exploring historic Montana. Livingston is a fantastic small town with a lot to do, from visiting its several book and music stores, restaurants and cafes.

You could stay happily on-site at Chico Hot Springs for the entire time. The resort offers plenty of outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, and disc golf—all of which you can check out on the Chico Hot Springs Website. There are over 800 acres of land to explore on the Chico Resort with breathtaking views of Paradise Vallery. 

Those with a vehicle may be interested in visiting Yellowstone National Park. Chico Hot Springs is roughly 40 minutes away from the North Gate of Yellowstone which offers access to the stunning Mammoth Hot Springs and Lamar Valley.
