Here is some information that you may find helpful in planning your week at the 2022 Chico Reviews. Please read thoroughly as it covers important information and should answer many of your questions.
Arrival and departure airport: Bozeman, MT (BZN)
Arrival and departure dates: Monday (3/21) and Sunday (3/27) are considered arrival and departure days. Lectures, panel discussions, and reviews will take place starting Tuesday (3/22) and concluding Saturday (3/26). Charcoal Book Club will provide three meals per day starting with dinner Monday (3/21) through breakfast Sunday (3/27).
Transportation: We will be providing a shuttle from Bozeman Airport to Chico Hot Springs on Monday (3/21) and Sunday (3/27). The times are listed on the Shuttle Reservations page. If you are interested in having your own transportation, we suggest renting a car from one of the airport car rental locations.
Weather: The average high for late March in southern Montana is in the 50s, while the low is in the mid-20s.

- Layers! (thermal base, down clothing, top shell)
- Water Bottle
- Notebook
- Pen
- At least one camera
- Bathing suit for hot springs
- Binoculars
- Sturdy shoes for optional hikes and photo walks
Nearby Attractions
You could stay happily on-site at Chico Hot Springs for the entire time. They've got two restaurants, a saloon, a spa, and plenty of outdoor activities like snowshoeing, dogsledding, and more—all of which you can check out on the Chico Hot Springs Website.
Of course, there’s also plenty to get into in Livingston (tons of great restaurant, cafés, and bars) and in the north section of Yellowstone National Park (like the Boiling River). Keep in mind that Monday—Thursday is going to be packed with lectures, Q&As, and reviews from breakfast until dinner—and it’s up to you if you’d like to rent a car and explore the area.
